NorthWest goga Theatre

From November 2003 to August 2004, the all-female NorthWest goga Theatre performed long-form improvisational theater around Seattle.

The troupe's debut performance at CageMatch on November 16, 2003, was hailed by Andrew McMasters, director of Jet City Improv, as

"The best first showing I have seen from an improv group in a long time. The NW goga performance shows solid talent, skill and training."

On August 18, 2004, at the Toronto International Improv Festival, NorthWest goga Theatre performed the piece the troupe developed, "Skin/Deep – a reality show," for the last time. As it had from the beginning, the troupe delighted the audience with the skill and sensitivity of its performance.

One particular deeply touching scene was called "inspirational" by Asaf Ronen, a prominent improviser, director, and performer in New York.

NorthWest goga Theatre is on hiatus now. Look for us to return in the future.
