During the two years that NWgT produced workshops, instructors came from Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles to teach and perform in Seattle. Todd Stashwick, Joe Bill, Mark Sutton, Jason Anfinsen, Andy Eninger, and Karen Herr brought fresh and exciting new ideas in long-form improv to improvisers and audiences in the area.

NWgT is pleased to announce that the production arm of the group has been taken over by Janey Appleseed Productions. Janey Appleseed is a new name but has the same mission: New name, but same mission: to bring outside influences in improvisational theater to Seattle, to benefit improvisers and audiences in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada.

From workshop students ...

"I think it's great that you are cross-fertilizing the Seattle scene with instructors from other cities."

"Congrats on a fine weekend of performances and workshops."

"[The workshop] was fantastic and well worth the trip."

"It was an incredibly valuable experience for me as a performer, and I really appreciated how well-organized everything was."
